And so my paintings will venture to Deventer, in the Netherlands, to Galerie Kiek-Kus, December 9th 2017 - January 6th 2018; during the 'Dickens Festival'.

Welcome to Galerie Kiek-Kus in December!

 

 

 

 

 

The gates have closed...

After yet an amazing season, Art Sanctuary has closed its' gates;

and, after all the work to prepare the garden (months beforehand)...and then all the artists arriving with their beautiful and special works... and now people arriving to fetch their new treasures and artists arriving to bring back home the works not sold... I am left both happy and proud, and a bit melancholic, as always...

The garden comes to rest, after a hectic and exciting season; filled with echoes of laughter, whispering voices, kisses and embraces, and smiling faces expressing wonder and joy.

And when I close my eyes, I send thanks to this wonderous garden - it truly is Enchanting!

And so, a last stroll through Memory Lane...

Meet the artists in 'The  Enchanted Garden' this year!

 

In the meantime - I am a curator and a gardener

Well, I wouldn't call myself a gardener... I am not... I am an artist who Loves to work in the garden!

As Spring evolves....turns into Summer, and our Internatonal exhibition approaches... I can feel the Enchantment arriving!

 

Today, I managed to catch one very special moment; The flax/vlas/lin in blossom! It lasts for only ONE DAY!

This evening it was away - like a dream!

HAPPY TO MEET 'Cousin Good Shoes Sentinel'!

I have to to say What a Nice Encounter!

After weeks of a VERY infected finger...and operation...and more problems(bacterial and fungi)... with not so much desire to do anything...getting paranoid about everything I am touching... is it the garden, the animals, the food... what is it?

I decided to get back 'to the business'...of painting.

And so, I am a happy Painter again!
