Sometimes I wonder; Do I paint my own retina to fall asleep - and wake up - to...?

"When the soul wishes to experience something she throws an image of the experience out before her and enters into her own image."

Winter Solstice - Christmas - Hannukah - and a New Year Arriving -

It's been a year that will surely be marked in the History books with special ink, or paint, led lights - or whatever they will use in the future; 2022 - a year of reckoning ... My wish for the future next year is for a Communion - with Nature and Planet.

Plûme in the Enchanted Garden - Plûme au Jardin enchanté

Plûme in the Enchanted Garden

Where does this burst of light - suddenly appearing at the bottom of the pond - on the first day of spring - come from? And who is this little girl trapped in a glass bottle?

This is the mystery that Plûme, Myheart and Tigerpus will try to unravel over the course of an adventure that will make them discover creatures and unknown corners of the Enchanted Garden, to the sound of the whistles of Golden Bird.

Assisted by the faithful Ferdinand, they will consult the Great Council of Frogs, meet the Secret Queen, confront the dreaded Baron Buzzard, have tea with an out of order clock, discover the strange power of the Wishing Well and challenge the Fire Fairy under expert advice from Mister Ponder.

But what Plûme and all Plûme’s friends do not suspect, is that this Enchanted Garden - created by the Man who likes to plant trees - makes people dream from distant lands; to the point of making a little tree want to accompany her friends, the White Starlings, on their migration ...

Discovering Belgium reviews 'Plûme in the Enchanted Garden' (book)

A delightful book from Belgium’s Enchanted Garden

“Plûme in the Enchanted Garden” by Tone Aanderaa is a delightful book for children and adults that will take our minds off the current troubles.
These strange lockdown times are challenging for us all. It’s totally understandable if children and adults feel both physically and emotionally hemmed in and even suffocated by the impact of isolation. Belgium-based Norwegian artist/author Tone Aanderaa is offering a special free gift that might help us get through these challenging times. She is aiming to encourage our imaginations to soar! And surely that can only lift our spirits?
Tone has written and beautifully illustrated a story book called “Plûme in the Enchanted Garden.” And she’s offering it free to read. I do believe many children (and adults) will love it. It would make an ideal bedtime book to read with a child or grandchild. What could be better than to drift off to sleep dreaming of a secret world with magical creatures?

Introducing Plûme in the Enchanted Garden

“In a tiny country, not far from the capital, there is a large, old garden. It is so big that it includes a forest, several ponds and waterways, a field of flowers, a labyrinth, two bridges, an island, and even more. Running through the garden is an avenue of a hundred cherry trees. But what is most special about this garden is that it is enchanted. And in this enchanted garden lives Plûme. But not even Plûme knows all the secrets of the garden.”
